PBL stands for Project Based Learning. PBL has taken the education system by storm and it is based on students taking their learning and education into their own hands. With PBL instruction students are excited about their learning and are given a voice in how they would like to show  how they have met the standards addressed in the project.
Check out this quick video to get a glimpse into what PBL helps us do for our kids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=W1K2jdjLhbo
